Guest Sensory Guide
WELCOME!
Get ready to attend NEXT for AUTISM’s star-studded fundraising event to support our mission of building national programs to enhance the lives of autistic individuals. We hope you enjoy the celebrity-filled show while supporting our collective vision of inclusion for all. This guide was developed to provide some key information before and use during this super-fun event.
Things to Bring
- Event ticket via Ticketmaster app
- Headphones or earplugs if needed. (headphones may be available for rental)
- Any medications or medical devices you may need for the evening.

Preparation for Attending The Event
- Plan your transportation to The Beacon Theatre
- Nearest Bus Stations: Broadway/W77 St and Amsterdam Ave/W77th St
- Nearest Subway Station: 66 St-Lincoln Center
- Ensure your ticket is ready via the Ticketmaster app. You may need to download a copy to your phone’s wallet
- There will be loud sounds during the show, with the use of bright and flashing lights
- The theatre will be dark during the performance

AT THE THEATRE
1. On arrival to the theatre, you will see barriers to queue in, get in the line.
- There are two entrances, one on Broadway between 74th and 75th Street and one on Amsterdam and 74th Street. Both are accessible entrances.
- Any bags used by guests should be able to fit under your seat. They may also be inspected by security at the entrance.
2. At the entrance, someone will scan the ticket on your phone.
3. If you need to collect your ticket from the Box Office, it is located at the Broadway entrance
4. Food & Drink. If you would like a snack, follow signs to one of the Concessions
- Concessions are located in the Lobby, Loge, and Balcony.
- Outside food and beverages are not allowed.
- Cashless payments only, so plan to use a debit/credit card or Apple or Google Pay.
5. Sensory Kits and ALDs
- A limited number of Sensory Kits will be available at Guest Services. Each kit includes noise-cancelling headphones and a variety of fidgets.
- Assistive Listening Devices (ALD), which operate on the FM system, are complimentary and available for guests who are deaf or hard of hearing. Please see a guest experience representative upon arrival to arrange for an ALD. Collateral, such as a driver’s license or credit card, is required to borrow an ALD and will be exchanged at the end of the event.
6. Finding Your Seat
- When you are ready to find your seat, locate your section and seat number on your ticket.
- Theatre ushers will provide assistance if needed.
- If your seat is located in the Balcony, follow the signage.

7. Devices
- Please silence your cellphone, tablet, smartwatch, or any other device you may have to ensure it does not “ring” or alarm during the event.
- No recording of the event is allowed.
8. Restrooms
- Restrooms are clearly marked.
- Theatre ushers will provide assistance if needed.
9. Sensory Room
- A quiet room is available for use if needed. Please note that re-entry to the theatre may not be available.
- For access, please find an event volunteer (all volunteers will wear badges as shown below).
- We recommend that room occupants be accompanied by a friend or family member.
10. Exiting the Theatre
- When the show is complete, exit through the marked "EXIT" doors.
