Triumph 7: And the Emmy Goes to…Night of Too Many Stars
On Sunday night, Comedy Central’s Night of Too Many Stars won a Creative Arts Emmy for Outstanding Interactive Program. Other nominees in the category include Game of Thrones, Homeland, Top Chef, Killing Lincoln, Team Coco and The Walking Dead.
As a partner on this outstanding benefit to support autism, NYCA would like to join Comedy Central in thanking all the participants and donors who keep coming back every other year to make the night a success. We’re also extremely grateful for all the celebrities who donate their time to offer unique experiences. For example, special thanks to Nick Offerman for stripping on a live stream and to Conan O’Brien for giving himself a spray tan and cornrows. Last but not least, thanks to the academy!
Since 2006, Night of Too Many Stars has raised over $18 million, giving individuals with autism the chance they deserve to learn, to contribute and to live the fullest life possible.
As we celebrate our 10th anniversary this year by sharing 10 triumphs in autism, we’re so proud to add this one to the list of accomplishments. To learn more about the Night of Too Many Stars: http://www.comedycentral.com/shows/night-of-too-many-stars
