About the podcast: Welcome to Someone You Know: A Podcast About Disabilities, Those Who Have Them, and Those Who Love Them. My name is Andrew Abraham, I am a recent college graduate and work in special education as a paraprofessional. As both someone with a sibling with Autism and a professional working in special education, I wanted to create a space for those of us that have experience with the disability community either personally or professionally to talk about what brings us together and celebrate our diversity as individuals. This podcast series will be focused on learning more about disability, the disabled experience, and how we can better educate ourselves about what it means to live with a disability. If you or someone in your life has a disability, this podcast is for you. And even if you don’t, chances are someone you know loves someone with a disability, and you might just learn something new by listening.
